Topshop support Fairtrade

11-01-2007 16:18

Topshop have already proved their status on the high street and are now targeting the increasingly popular ethical trade by joing forces with Made, a fairtrade accessories brand.

Made is launching their African inspired range of jewellery, bags and belts at Topshop's flagship London store.

The fairtrade company profits impoverished communities in East Africa and Thailand, helping to sustain an income through the provision of training local craftsmen in new skills.

Made's products are produced by talented artisans working with local materials.

Ekwiy Alanyi makes the leather accessories for Made, which has helped him to turn his struggling business into a leather production company.
