Is trend going out of fashion?

There was a time when we had to buy new clothes week after week simply because the clothes we bought last week werent fashionable this week.

Now, it seems trends are slowing down. It had got to the point where trends were moving so fast that they had become a status symbol rather than a personal indication of style.

It seems that the trends we do follow are getting longer and longer, and people are looking for clothes to wear, to fit their bodies, their style and their lifestyle, rather than simply a picture to copy.

Now, trends are much more personal. Its accepted that rather than a new take on the fashion for every week, we'll have a new take on fashion for every person. Fashion buyers are getting much more creative and individual in the way they wear their clothes and people are more body conscious than ever.

This is not to say Fashion is going out of fashion. Fashion is here to stay, it will always be a part of life. It is a necessity brought about by the change in weather through the seasons and we can't avoid that. Who'd want to?

Leaving trends behind can only be a good thing. It means no more embarassing photos (oh no, a snap from 2004!! Look at that hair!) because the key to great style, now is making is work for you!
