Tyra Banks Reveals Hair

Tyra Banks has unveiled her natural hair on TV.

The 35-year-old supermodel - who had previously declared yesterday (08.09.08) 'National Real Hair Day' - debuted her look on 'The Tyra Banks Show', and was delighted when she was cheered on by the audience.

She said: "Ok, so let's talk about my hair. I know it's been a big mystery and I felt like I needed to solve this mystery. I've worn weaves and wigs and pieces and clip-ons and clip-downs and clip-arounds since I was 17, 18. I wanted to show the real me, the raw me. I've just got out of the shower and came on the stage and this is me y'all!"

Sooner rather than later, definitely

Earlier, Tyra took to Twitter to show her excitement about her new look.

She wrote: "i know i tweeted already but i'm so excited!!!me on CW(ANTM chnl)4pm 2day.no wig.no weave.just me ya'll! n i get my hair done live on stage(sic)!"

Meanwhile, the star has revealed she sometimes worries she is too nice to be taken seriously.

She explained: "I wish I was more of a diva. I wish I was harder, I wish I didn't care so much about being the nice girl all the time. Because a lot of the time people can take kindness for weakness so I wish I had a little bit more 'oomph' in me."

Tyra, who recently denied reports she was engaged to her businessman boyfriend John Utendahl, insists getting married is not something she thinks about, but added she would love to have children.

She told ABC News' 'Nightline': "Sooner rather than later, definitely. I have a lot of success and make a good living, but after a while you start going, 'Why?' I need to be able to share it with a family, and go and buy a lot of toys for my child, you know what I'm saying?"
