Uma Thurman Hosts Fashion Rocks

Uma Thurman has been confirmed to host this year's Fashion Rocks concert alongside Samuel L Jackson in October.

The event brings together the world's biggest names in fashion and music at the Royal Albert Hall to raise money for the Prince's Trust.

Armani, Burberry, Calvin Klein, Chanel, Christopher Kane, Dolce & Gabbana, Marchesa, Stella McCartney, Valentino, Versace and Yves Saint Laurent are all confirmed to show their collections to live sets by top artists including Alicia Keys, The Gossip, Joss Stone, Lily Allan, Razorlight and Timberland.

"I look around today and I hear you all say, 'What the hell does he know about fashion?'" Jackson said at a press conference at London's Intercontinental Hotel this morning. "Well, my sartorial convictions speak for themselves."

This was followed by a short montage showing all Jackson's most memorable on screen outfits including super cool Jules Winnfield in Pulp Fiction and John Shaft in Shaft.

The concert is sponsored by Swarovski and takes place on 18th October. Tickets are available from £350 and all proceeds will go to various projects which help young people.
