Ferruccio Pozzoni, a menswear designer at Valentino has left the fashion house.
Valentino confirmed the news yesterday, as Pozzini who began collaborating with the label since September 2007 with the Fall/Winter 2008/09 collection, announced his departure.
In a statement released Valentino said: "In accordance with both sides, Mr Ferruccio Pozzoni and Valentino SpA have decided not to renew the consultancy contract, which refers to Mr Pozzoni's creative guide of Valentino Men's collection," reports Reuters.
Pozzini, who had previously worked at Prada and men's tailor Brioni will still be involved with the presentation of Valentino's men's Fall/Winter 2009/2010 collection however, which will take place on January 17.
This latest announcement follows Alessandra Facchinetti's departure from the company in October last year.
