Vivienne Westwood’s life story is being translated to the silver screen. The iconic designer let new of the project slip at the recent Hay Festival.
Although no details of the plot have been confirmed, it is likely to include her marriage to Sex Pistols manger Malcolm Mc Laren and the subsequent involvement in creating the look for the Punk movement.
The Grand Dame of the fashion world, she is famous for her innovative cutting edge designs and has established a global reputation as one of the UK’S most original designers.
Earlier this year she was recognised for her contribution to the fashion industry when she was made a Dame by the Queen.
Celebrity fans of her designs include Kate Moss, Sienna Miller, Kate moss and Milla Jovovich.
