Top fashion designers gathered together for an exclusive dinner to celebrate the Yves Saint Laurent Smoking Forever Exhibition.

Legendary French movie star Catherine Deneuve sat on the top table with the man himself and Madame Rochas.

The exhibition celebrates Laurent's Smoking suit, which has become a design classic. There are over 45 different designs in the collection, which spans his career from the 1960's to the present day.

British designer Paul Smith arrived with his wife Pauline said:" We didn't find out the reason for our invite until we arrived.

It turns out that when Yves Saint Laurent couture house closed in 2002, I bought Pauline the last ever Smoking suit to be made."
