Giorgio Armani has been awarded the French Legion of Honour award for his work in the fashion industry.
The Italian designer was given the honour by French President Nicolas Sarkozy last week.
The ceremony took place inside the gardens of the Elysee Palace in Paris and was attended by Helen Mirren, Tina Turner and Carla Fendi who paid tribute to Armani.
