The 35-year-old singer has admitted she chose to use her middle name as the title of her footwear label to "separate it" from being directly linked to her but to still maintain a personal connection with it, and the star has admitted her parent Pat was over the moon by the name of the brand.

Speaking exclusively to BANG Showbiz, the blonde beauty - who launched her Spring/Summer 2017 collection earlier this month - said: "When I was sitting here doing my line I was like 'I don't want to use Ashley Roberts. My dad would love it if I called it my middle name.' And then it separates it, but it's still me. He is absolutely in love that I named it Allyn."

The former The Pussycat Dolls star - who made up one fifth of the girl band alongside Nicole Scherzinger, Kimberly Wyatt, Jessica Sutta and Melody Thornton - capsule includes printed heeled boots and flats, which were inspired by her dad, his band, as well as her "rebellious" childhood growing up in Arizona where she was surrounded by "a lot of Western cowboys".

She explained: "My father was a musician and he was in the Mamas and the Papas for a little bit, and I grew up around creativity, rock and roll. So a lot of my inspiration is from what I saw growing up.

"A lot of the buckles on my shoe are inspired by Phoenix, Arizona, because we have a lot of Western cowboys, so I really tried to tie in my inspiration from growing up with my father, and also what inspired me as a teenager - rebelling.

"Different celebrities; whether they were an actress, whether they were an artist, whether they were a 90s supermodel. I was just really inspired in the 90s, I think I was hitting an age where I was a sponge of what was going on in pop culture."
