The Victoria's Secret Angel has admitted there are some times when she can't help but feel body-conscious or down about being rejected for a modelling job.

She shared: "There will always be times when you feel insecure, when you've got the feeling of being rated.

"Or when you don't get a job and take it personally."

The 25-year-old model - who is married to Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine - also admitted she doesn't really have a preparatory routine ahead of her runway shows but tries to stay trim, in general, by exercising and eating right.

She said: "I don't really prepare for fashion shows. I always work out and try to eat healthy."

Despite her modelling success, Behati - who hails from Grootfontein, Namibia - previously wanted to try her hand at other professions including air stewarding.

She explained: "I wanted to become a stewardess because I thought flying was so glamorous.

"Then I wanted to become an accountant. And then I thought about going to university to study marine biology."

But her current post as an Angel for the lingerie brand has left her feeling "very happy".

She told German magazine Bild: "It's great to walk for a brand where you have the feeling of representing the same values. I'm very happy."
