The 34-year-old 'Formation' hitmaker has specific requirements when choosing her red carpet gown, with the most essential criteria being the garment has not been adorned by a single individual prior to touching Beyoncé 's skin in fear of committing a "fashion no no", which sees Ty contact every branch of a designer store to ensure it is a completely unseen garment.

Speaking to the Metro newspaper about his extreme styling duties, the 42-year-old stylist - who began working with the powerhouse during her Destiny's Child days alongside the band's lead stylist, Tina Knowles - said: "It's a fashion no-no [wearing the same as someone else.], so we contact all the showrooms worldwide to make sure they haven't sent the same dress to someone else.

"A lot of the time, I will ask him[Jay Z], what he thinks."

To avoid the fashion faux pas, which could see the mother of one, four-year-old Blue Ivy, matching ensembles with another celebrity at a star studded event, Ty seeks inspiration and sources designers on social media.

Speaking to Heat magazine, he said: "I often find new designers on social media."

Meanwhile, Beyoncé has launched her athleisure wear Ivy Park with Arcadia's CEO Sir Philip Green, which launched in stores last week, ahead of her upcoming 'Formation' world tour, which will kick off in Miami, Florida on April 27.
