Aren't we all a fan of a bargain?

Aren't we all a fan of a bargain?

There's nothing better than saving yourself a little bit of money on a purchase, is there?

Despite the fact that Britain is no longer in a recession, this doesn’t appear to have had an effect on the money-savviness of Britons, as the majority admit to never paying full price for clothes when shopping online.

The survey, conducted by www.MyDeals.com/uk polled a total of 1,997 people from across the UK as part of research into the money-saving habits of Britons.

59% admitted that they use discounts and vouchers everytime they bought something online.

Whereas, only 39% use them whilst shopping on the high street.

When asked if they had a limit to how much they would spend online per month, 51% said that they did. When these same respondents were asked to elaborate on how much they budgeted for online spending on a monthly basis, the answers were as follows:

Less than £100 - 51%

£100-£200 - 27%

£200-£300 - 14%

£300 or more - 8%

Tom Packer, founder of MyDeals.com/uk had the following to say about the results:

“I know that a number of people do use deals and voucher codes when shopping online, but it was interesting to learn that so many people use them every time they buy clothes online. They can help to achieve some pretty big savings, especially if you’re looking at 20% off and numerous free delivery offers.

“Whilst being money-savvy is obviously really important, you should treat yourself once in a while. Don’t let the fact that something is slightly over budget put you off, I’m sure you deserve it and you’ll probably find a good discount code to use.”
