Carrie Bradshaw has stolen Harry Potter's crown, by becoming the fastest selling DVD on its first day of release.

Sales of Sex and The City beat Harry Potter and The Order of The Phoenix, into second place in a poll conducted by Tesco, with 90 copies being sold every minute.

Just goes to show, even a credit crunch can't dampen our enthusiasm for Carrie and her beloved Manolos.
