Cheryl Cole spends over £100,000-a-year on keeping up her famous good looks.

The Girls Aloud singer has hired a team of experts to help her maintain her fitness, hair and style.

A source said: "Cheryl is the most ambitious person I know. She spends a lot of money looking her best, but it's not about vanity, it's about achieving as much as she can. She sees it as an investment - something she needs to perfect to do well in her career."

Cheryl knows she lives an incredibly privileged life, yet sometimes things can get on top of her.

She's worried about looking anything other than perfect. She knows it's hard to understand her or the huge pressure she's under.
 
As well as a hiring a personal stylist for £30,000, Cheryl also reportedly splashes out £9,000-a-year on hair, £12,000 on a private dietician, £14,000 on personal training sessions, £5,000 on treatments and £36,000 on a fat-burning machine.

Although it is a lot of money, the 25-year-old singer - who is married to soccer star Ashley Cole - thinks the cash is well-spent because it helps her to cope with the pressures of fame.

The source added to Britain's Closer magazine: "Cheryl knows she lives an incredibly privileged life, yet sometimes things can get on top of her.
