The 32-year-old fashion designer - whose mum Christine passed away after a sudden illness on Friday (20.02.15)- honoured her in the impressive A/W 15 show at London's Tate Modern museum.

Christopher - who produced the line with his sister Tammy, the brand's creative director - dedicated the stunning show to her, which featured black LBDs, glittering lurex designs, tulle dresses patterned with intertwined figures and a crimson sweater dress.

The collection - which was inspired by the female form - also featured velvet coats, suits and an iconic plastic buckled bag, with the models sashaying down the runway to 'More, More, More' by Andrea Ture.

The Scottish-born designer decided to let the line speak for itself and, in the show's notes, announced that "in the light of such overwhelming and upsetting news" he would not be available for interviews backstage following the production.

The show was attended by actress Salma Hayek joined by her billionaire husband François-Henri Pinault, who is the CEO of Kering, the company which owns Christopher's eponymous label.

Model Alexa Chung and Pixie Geldof were also spotted making their way inside the venue.

Christopher - who was awarded the Women's Wear Designer of the Year award at the British Fashion Awards in 2013 - also opened his new store on London's Mount Street earlier this week.
