Diane Von Furstenberg's reality show will air on E!
The acclaimed designer's upcoming TV project has been snapped up by the celebrity entertainment channel, although an air date has yet to be announced.
According to a new press release, it "explores the relationships between an ultra-successful boss who controls the fashion world and her eight eager-to-please associates in training."
The fashion star, famed for her iconic and effortlessly elegant wrap-dress design, will give one lucky winner the chance to become the DVF Global Brand Ambassador when the competition culminates at New York Fashion Week.
The release continues: "An integral part of all major DVF divisions, this chosen ambassador will travel the world representing Diane and her business... if she makes all the right moves."
E! News has listed the eagerly-awaited show under their "Unscripted/Topical projects in development."
Diane will be acting as executive producer alongside Chris Grant, Michael Rourke, Mioshi Hill and Corie Henson, with Electus and Hud:sun Media producing.
The as yet untitled documentary-style series previously put out a casting call for "all smart and driven fashionistas who appear to be 20-25 and are interested in learning the ins and outs of the fashion industry from one of America's most legendary fashion icons."
The "DVF DocuSeries" was expected to start filming this Spring.
