eBay have been ordered to pay a £30 million fine for allowing fake designer goods by top names including Louis Vuitton and Christian Dior to be sold on the site.

A court in Paris issue the company with the massive fine after a number of luxury brands complained about the items on sale.

The auction site was accused of putting fake handbags, clothes, perfumes and other luxury goods in a case that began over a year ago.

eBay was ordered to pay Louis Vitton £15m and £13m to Dior as well as around £2m to the four perfume brands.
