H&M have finally been given approval for a new store on Paris's legendary Champs-Elysees.
The high street retailers have been fighting to have their plans accepted since they were blocked by a Paris commission last year.
It was thought that the new store would 'banalise' the exclusive street which plays host to the likes of Cartier and Louis Vuitton.
However notably un-fashionable names such as McDonalds and The Disney Store also have shops there.
"We are very happy that we've finally received a trade license to open," a H&M spokeswoman told WWD. "It's a positive development."
