Disney have decided to cash in on every grown up little girl's dream by creating a new range of wedding dresses.
The company hopes to launch its princess inspired gowns in Britain next year as part of a strategy to sell it's merchandise to an older audience.
The Disney Fairy Tale Wedding collection was designed by couturier Kirstie Kelly and is inspired by princesses including Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella and Snow White. The dresses went on sale in June in the US and are already provong popular.
European head of consumer products, Anne Gates told The Guardian. If you look at these gowns you see what Kirstie was doing but you dont think of the blue frock Cinderella was wearing.
Disney stores and licensing deals around the world earned the company $23bn in sales last year and by focusing on the adults who enjoy isney movies they are hoping to double sales in the next five to seven years.
