Patricia Field, the stylist from Sex and the City, is set to design a fashion range for Marks and Spencer.
The New York fashion expert will create will created the one of 35-piece collection for the high street retailer later this year.
Marks and Spencers will not only sell the new collection in there UK stores but will also over it internatioanlly via their online store.
Patricia, who was also responsible for the designer outfits in The Devil Wears Prada is excited about the new venture: "It's just amazing to be working with such an iconic brand as M&S," she said.
"I really wanted to get involved with a brand who really understood women of all ages and who would work closely with me to develop the range in a way that was right for them. I have conceptualised the line as 'Destination Style New York' and it consists of iconic womenswear including matching accessories. I like to see it as expression of my philosophy of 'the democratisation of luxury'."
