The 21-year-old model beat her younger sister Bella, 20, and close friend Kendall Jenner, 21, for the highly-acclaimed title at this year's fashion extravaganza in partnership with the jewellery brand Swarovski, which took place at London's Royal Albert Hall on Monday (05.12.16).

The blonde beauty, who adorned a pastel blue Versace jumpsuit with wrap detail and train, was presented the award by the 61-year-old fashion designer Donatella Versace.

Whilst Jaden and Willow Smith were credited as the New Fashion Icons, and the siblings - who are the children of Jada and Will Smith - were gifted the award by Edward Enninful and the 'Shutdown' hitmaker Skepta.

Naomi Campbell was among the a-list guestlist to take to the stage to hand over the gong for British Brand to Alexander McQueen, which was picked up by the fashion houses creative director Sarah Burton, and the 46-year-old supermodel has admitted the winning designer brand "deserved" the award.

Alongside a picture of her on the red carpet at last night's star-studded event, she wrote: "#thank you@alexandermcqueen it's was an honor to present to #SarahBurton #BFA@britishfashioncouncil @swarkoskiCongratulations so deserved adore you Jewles by me &@samerhalimehny stay tuned (sic)."

Ralph Lauren received the Outstanding Achievement in Fashion, which saw former England football captain David Beckham take to the stage to recognise the fashion mogul.

Among other designer brands to be recognised at the annual ceremony include Craig Green for Craig Green, who was recognised as this year's best British Menswear Designer, Simone Rocha for Simone Rocha was credited as the British Womenswear Designer, whilst Molly Goddard claimed the title for British Emerging Talent and Alessandro Michele for Gucci was awarded the International Accessories Designer.

Meanwhile Abbey Clancy, Lady Gaga, Joan Smalls, Karlie Kloss, Kate Beckinsale, Kate Moss, the chairman of the British Fashion Council (BFC) Dame Natalie Massenet, were among guests who attended the event.
