The 24-year-old singer joined forces with the luxury label in August last year and launched his debut capsule for the brand earlier this year with the help of his 21-year-old girlfriend, who co-created her own garments in two fashion collections for Tommy Hilfiger.
The dark-haired hunk - who is known for being in the boyband One Direction alongside Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne - told The Sunday Time Style magazine: "Actually, Gee helped me design for Zanotti."
And the 'Pillowtalk' hitmaker has praised the blonde beauty for her creativity and has described her as a "really good artist".
Zayn - who started dating Gigi in 2015 - added: "She's a really good artist, really creative."
However, that was not the first time the model has lent a helping hand in Zayn's fashion projects as she photographed the vocalist for his Versus Versace Spring/Summer 2017 campaign, which will see the products unveiled in June this year.
And the couple have revealed they have "private" nicknames for one another, which sees them address one another by the first letter of their names, although they also use other terms for each other that are more secretive.
He said: "I call her Gee, she calls me Zee. There's some other nicknames too, but I'll keep those private."
Meanwhile, Zayn has admitted he only ever wants the catwalk icon by his side.
When previously asked by Gigi about the one person he constantly wants next to him, he said: "You."
However, he soon extended the list to include his family and pets as well.
He explained: "And our dogs, and sometimes my mum, she cooks some good food. And family members in general, yeah, I love you all."
