Giorgio Armani at Milan Fashion Week

Giorgio Armani made a dramatic ending to Milan Fashion Week with models sauntering down the runway in bold headpieces.

Beautiful models were decked out in oversized square hats in striking shades of pink, blue and stylish black as the Italian designer presented his Spring Summer 14 collection.

Fluid drapery of chiffon robes were contrasted with structered powerful pencils skirts for a chic take on the modern working woman.

A pastel colour palette dominated the collection, which Armani explained was inspired by lightness and shadows, while the simplicity in design made for classic and timeless garments.

Donatella Versace and Miuccia Prada were just some of the veteran Italian taste-makers to feature over the past week, while up-and-coming womenswear designer Fausto Puglisi debuted a new collection from his epomonyous label.

The relatively new catwalk designer turned heads with his sexy and edgy brand featuring studded biker jackets and tropical prints layered with bondage inspired leather bras.

Puglisi's Spring/Summer 2014 debut comes after he spent time Stateside working for designer Patti Wilson to create stage costumes for celebrities such as Madonna, M.I.A, and Nicki Minaj.
