The 35-year-old actress and dancer - who starred in the dance film 'Step Up' alongside her husband Channing Tatum - has been announced as the new ambassador of the dance apparel brand and the brunette beauty has admitted she is very "excited" to be fronting campaigns for the company.

Jenna - who was a backing dancer for Janet Jackson - shared a photo from the campaign on her social media, which sees her posing mid-air in a black long sleeved crop top and high waisted briefs.

She captioned the post: "Guys I could not be more excited to share this with you! I've worn Danskin my entire life and it's an honour to be a part of this campaign. Check it out! Follow @DanskinApparel for more!#DanskinDetermination (sic)."

And the star has revealed she feels "honoured" to be at the helm of Danskin because she has worn garments from the label ever since she started dancing at the age of four.

Speaking about her latest fashion venture to PEOPLE, Jenna - who has three-year-old daughter Everly - said: "My mom reminded me, when I was four years old, starting a community dance class on the weekends and I had to wear a black leotard and pink tights.

"She got me a Danskin black little cap sleeve leotard and pink tights -- that's kind of why I jumped at this offer. I love Danskin, I've been wearing it for literally 30 years."

And Jenna has admitted she plans to break the mould of dance-wear, which is most commonly associated with legwarmers and leotards, and has revealed she wants to design her own clothing line.

She said: "I'd like to start designing something, my own line, but we'll see if there is any interest there!"
