The 38-year-old rapper, who unveiled his first collection last season, is said to planning to showcase his new range with the sportswear brand on September 16 at the fashion event.

A source told the New York Post's Page Six column: "It's a follow-up to last season."

Kanye's debut show in February - which was attended by US Vogue editor Anna Wintour, Beyonce, Jay Z, Kanye's wife Kim Kardashian West and their two-year-old daughter North West - received mix reviews from critics for its oversized camouflage jackets, nude bodysuits and a variety of footwear, including hi-top trainers and knee-high boots.

Despite the flurry of criticism, it's believed the 'Stronger' hitmaker poured everything he had into the collection and even worked for 72 hours straight in order to finish the Yeezy Boost trainer collection for Adidas Originals.

His pal, Russell Simmons, said at the time: "I was there the night before. Kanye had been locked in that studio for 72 hours. I left, went to Chris Rock's birthday, came back, he's still there at 2 am."

Kanye, also debuted his then-new track 'Wolves', which was co-written with 'Chandelier' hitmaker Sia and Chicago rapper Vic Mensa, as the soundtrack to the show.

Meanwhile, New York Fashion Week 2015 kicked off on Thursday (10.09.15) and will conclude on September 17.
