The 39-year-old rapper, who has his own clothing brand Yeezy, has collaborated with the German sportswear giant since 2013 when he launched his first range but he's now releasing even more fashion pieces in an extension of his existing brand called Adidas + Kanye West collection.

Speaking about the new collection, Kanye said: "These past two years Adidas and Yeezy have given a glimpse into our future. This partnership illustrates that anyone with a dream can dream without limitations."

The collection will see sportswear added to the 'Bound 2' hitmaker's existing fashion lines and it will even have several exclusive stores worldwide to showcase his collection - which are expected to drop in early 2017.

Eric Liedtke, Adidas CMO said: "Kanye is a true creator who has the ability to see things others don't. We are exploring new territories by opening up the sports world to Kanye's creativity. This is what Adidas has always been about, empowering creators to create the new."

Adidas' decision to support stores selling his products has been attributed to the success of his own 'Life of Pablo' pop up shops that appeared in New York and Los Angeles.

Despite claiming earlier in the year that he was $53 million in debt, Kanye has continued to pour money into personal projects.

In March this year, the hip-hop superstar, who shares six-month-old son Saint and three-year-old daughter North, with his wife Kim Kardashian West, announced he was creating a "million" new pairs of trainers this year and has hinted they'll be on sale at a cheaper retail price.
