Kim Kardashian West received two Chanel bags from Karl Lagerfeld after the Harper's Bazaar photo shoot.

The 32-year-old 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star has admitted she was jealous of her mother Kris Jenner, 60, who was gifted a designer handbag after her first collaboration with the 82 year old for Carine Roitfeld's CR Fashion Book in 2013, and after voicing her "surprised" her with two accessories to make it up to her.
Speaking about how the creative mastermind upset her on her website kimkardashianwest.com, Kim - who features on the cover of the September issue of Harper's Bazaar magazine - said: "I thought she [Kris] was SO embarrassing, LOL, but Karl loved it so much that he pulled out a Chanel purse -- not just any purse but their beautiful crystal Lego clutch.
"I got so excited, thinking Karl was going to give me a surprise bag, but instead he goes straight to the Chanel queen herself: Kris Jenner.
"For this Harper's Bazaar shoot, I finally told Karl and Carine [Roitfeld] this story, and they thought it was hilarious.
"At the end of the shoot, Karl surprised me with not one but TWO Chanel bags. I will forever be grateful for SUCH a special moment. My dream of getting a Chanel bag from Karl finally came true!"
And the mother of two - who has three-year-old daughter North and seven-month-old son Saint with her rapper husband Kanye West - has admitted the first encounter with Karl brought a tear to her eye.
The 'Selfish' author shared a picture of her behind-the-scenes on the photo shoot, which sees Karl on set directing her, on her Instagram account.
She captioned the post: "Karl made me cry on my first shoot with him but don't worry he made it up to me on this shoot! (sic)."
