The pop princess brought sass and style to the annual ceremony that celebrates Australian's music industry - held at The Star in Sydney's Darling Harbour - and despite the blistering heat, the demure beauty wore a dusty pink embroidered gown dripping in gem stones.
The 47-year-old singer twirled in front of the cameras in the layered dress that also featured a raised hemline at the knee and a lace and a mesh lining.
Kylie met 'Thinking Out Loud' hitmaker Ed Sheeran on the red carpet and the pair enjoyed a brief, but intimate, waltz, before she sashayed away with the dress trailing behind her.
'Chains' hitmaker Tina Arena was inducted into the ARIA hall of fame by Kylie at the event and performed her track with the help of the Veronicas and Jessica Mauboy.
Elsewhere, Ed, 24 - dressed in his familiar casual ensemble of a blue gingham shirt paired with jeans and sneakers - was joined at the celebrity event by One Direction star Harry Styles, as well as fellow British singer James Blunt, with whom he shared a peck on the cheek.
