The 'Applause' hitmaker has designed her latest fragrance to be suitable for both men and women, and suggested she was eager for it to be unisex because she imagines partners sharing the scent while they freshen up after romping.

She wrote on Twitter: "I'm very proud to announce that EAU DE GAGA my latest unisex fragrance is now available at Target. It's fresh, clean, ready for sex heaven!

"I wanted to create something my female & male fans could enjoy. Couples: spray it on after a post sex shower yummy! (sic)"

The 28-year-old singer released her first fragrance, Lady Gaga Fame, in 2012, and had sold more than 30 million bottles of the perfume by the following year.

Her latest fragrance - which was launched in September - moves away from the more subtle tones of tiger orchid, incense, apricot, saffron and honey which were used for Lady Gaga Fame, and has been marketed as smelling of white violet, lime and leather.

Speaking about the fragrance last year, she also suggested it is perfect for seducing a potential lover, regardless of gender.

She said: "It is an extremely sexy and arousing smell for all genders. Alluring and ready for sex."
