"I've done Victoria's Secret [so] I have a name and I can launch myself in a bigger way. But, wherever my career takes me, I am blessed."

Lily says the birth of her daughter Dixie Pearl, now 14 months, who she has with her Kings of Leon rocker husband, Caleb Followill, had a big impact on her sense of style and made her more fearless.

Lily explained: "I'm a huge shopper and, since I had my daughter, I am much more experimental with fashion. I don't care if someone doesn't like it; if I like it, that's all that matters."

The 27-year-old is proud of her elite status as a Victoria's Secret Angel and believes having the chance to wear the coveted wings on the catwalk - like Miranda Kerr, Gisele Bundchen and Heidi Klum before her - has boosted her career.

Lily enthused: "It's a huge part of American culture. The Angels, to me, are strong, iconic women who I have grown up watching. Becoming an Angel was a huge achievement, the turning point of my career.

"It's made me a household name - very few models get that chance any more."
