The 16-year-old actress and model - who made her modelling breakthrough in 2015 and currently fronts the eye wear collection for the luxury French brand - has been announced as the face of the fashion house's perfume campaign today (23.05.16).

The teen starlet took to her Instagram account to broadcast the news with a picture of her planting a huge kiss on an enlarged bottle of the new signature scent, which she captioned: "I'm so excited to announce that I am the face of the new Chanel Number 5 L'EAU! @chanelofficial#newchanel5 (sic)."

The blonde beauty, who is the eldest child of the 'Pirates of the Caribbean' actor Johnny Depp and his ex-partner Vanessa Paridis - who worked with the designer brand and been their ambassador since 1990 - will feature on the advert to showcase the perfume, which was created by in-house perfumer Olivier Polge, directed by Johan Renck later this year.

Meanwhile, Lily - who starred in her first movie 'Tusk' in 2014 - has recently admitted it was an interesting experience working alongside her parents on 'Yoga Horses'.

Speaking previously about the partnership she said: "I learned so much working on this movie. Kevin really helped me come out of my shell as an actress. Being able to feel free and comfortable in your character's skin is so important. I'm lucky I had such great people surrounding me to help me do that.

"The most fun part of making the movie was being able to learn and experience everything for the first time with people I love and admire ... But I am grateful for what (working with my parents) brings and it is honestly a small price to pay to get to do what I want to do - I am very happy about that."
