Christian Loubuotin shoes are undoubtly the most gorgeous foot decor but the last ad campaign proves they are infact good enough to eat.

The campaign for the designer's Autumn collection shows his yummy footwear pictured alongside all kinds of sweet treats.

The images were devised by still life photographer Peter Lippmann to imitate classic 18th century art and show just how much of a masterpiece each pair of the red soled shoes is.

The campaign is a move away from the usual glam and glossy photographs typically used in the fashion industry and with an absence of models the focus is purely on the shoe.

As for the shoes themselves- we're loving the peep toes with fab calf length fringe detail. Gorgeous!!
