Luella Bartley took her audience on a walk through and enchanted woodland for her London Fashion Week show yesterday- and it seemed to be just what Lily Allen needed to bring a smile to her face.
The popular designer gave a star packed front row gypsy embroidery, pixie hats and pretty mini fairy dresses in her Autumn/Winter 2008/9 collection.
Lily Allen joined Kelly Osbourne, Alexa Chung, Emilia Fox and Kimberly Stewart on the front row and seemed a lot more perky than she had at the PPQ show earlier in the week.
The trendy young friends showed their love for Luella and all wore examples of the mini prom dresses she is best known for as they watched the enchantment unfold on the runway.
Next season Luella's dresses are in primary coloured satin and cut into bright Maypole strips with orange and red tights worn underneath. The mini floral prints of the summer collection make way for red and black check, palest peach and navy blue.
Luella's fun and girly style is always popular with the London party girls so we expect to see the influence of this latest collection on the highstreet before summer is through.
Trend Alert:
Luella's collection featured a hint of the Amish trend that has been subtly coming through on the catwalk this week and already been adopted by Peaches Geldoff- we're already predicting it will be a big trend for Winter.
