The 26-year-old actress has admitted she thinks her whole body looks better after a good night sleep rather than if she spent hours undergoing gruelling fitness classes and exercised relentlessly in the gym.

Speaking about her appearance to Harper's Bazaar website, the blonde beauty said: "I feel like my body looks better if I get more sleep rather than an hour at the gym."

However the 'Suicide Squad' star - who plays the role of The Joker's girlfriend Harley Quinn in the fantasy film - has revealed she will sign herself up for a dance class if she has time because it doesn't feel like she is exercising.

She explained: "If I have the time, I like dance classes; it doesn't feel like exercise to me. Or just playing sports with friends. Sometimes I play tennis, even though I'm not that good. If I'm in L.A., I go see Andie Hecker. She used to be a ballerina, and she incorporates ballet techniques with a Pilates machine with weights."

And the Australian-born star has revealed she has a low maintenance beauty regime, which sees her drink "green stuff", apply a cleanser and eye cream before she heads out to shoot the next big blockbuster.

Speaking about her daily routine, she said: "I hate waking up early in the morning. These days I get up mid-afternoon and have what I call green stuff. I don't know the name of it, but it's an immune-boosting powder that you mix in with a bit of juice. My mom used to make me take it if I was getting sick, but now when I'm doing jobs I take it every day. If you get sick, you know, people can't film. It tastes disgusting, but it's good for you.

"After drinking that, I take a quick shower. I use Dr. Lancer's cleanser. When I get out, I dab on some La Prairie eye cream. There's a dermatologist in Australia who has a skin-care line called Bloc Cosmetics; I like the day-night moisturizer. So that's my beauty regime."
