Naomi Campbell and Jourdan Dunn are the "perfect" stars of Burberry's new Spring/Summer 2015 campaign.

The two British models will front the fashion brand's next advertising push and have been shot by Mario Testino for the print and billboard ads.

Naomi Campbell and Jourdan Dunn have worked together for the first time appearing in Burberry's Spring/Summer 2015 campaign.

It is the first time Naomi, 44, and Jourdan, 24, have worked together and catwalk legend Naomi admits it was a lot of fun to team up with her younger peer.

In a statement, the veteran supermodel said: "I was thrilled to work with Jourdan for the first time - it was a lot of fun. But above all, it's always rewarding for an artist to work on a campaign for a world-class product.

"It is always a pleasure to work with Mario Testino; we came up in the business together 28 years ago, so have an understanding and ease in working together. His photography is special and the results are always stunning."

Christopher Bailey, Burberry Chief Creative and Chief Executive Officer, was responsible for bringing Naomi and Victoria's Secret Angel Jourdan together and is thrilled he was able to get the "two great British icons" together for the global campaign.

He said: "Naomi and Jourdan - two great British icons, two strong, beautiful women and the two perfect faces for our new campaign. It is, as always, a real privilege to work with them."

In the first shot released, the pair are seen posing in the newest interpretations of the iconic Burberry trench coat and the label's latest handbags emblazoned with the famous plaid pattern.

This is the first time Naomi has worked with Burberry since her 2001 campaign, which also featured her friend Kate Moss.

Jourdan is appearing in her fourth Burberry campaign having made her debut in the Spring/Summer 2011 adverts which also starred Cara Delevingne.

The full Burberry Spring/Summer 2015 collection is available globally from Burberry.com from 5 January 2015.
