Rihanna is set to sign a seven-figure deal to design for Puma.

The R&B superstar has been in discussions with the German company to create a range of lifestyle line of branded footwear and sportswear and has been offered just over $1 million to agree to the collaboration.

A source told the New York Daily News newspaper's Confidenti@l column: "She is going to have her own coordinator to go to at Puma who only handles her, and they'll have a junior coordinator helping them. The focus is shoes, but she will also be helping with pants and tops."

A condition of the deal, if she agrees, will be that Rihanna must only wear Puma sports clothing and cannot be photographed wearing rival brands.

The source added: "She will have to slowly start to incorporate Puma into her wardrobe. She will be wearing all Puma gear in shoots and out and about."

The 'Diamonds' singer is yet to put pen to paper on the deal but the deal is almost finalized and once it is the collaboration will be announced.

The source said: "The offer isn't signed yet, but she is in 100 percent and wants to do this."

Rihanna is no stranger to the fashion world having previously designed an underwear and jeans collection for Armani in 2011, while she also co-created a clothing line for British high street store River Island.

The 26-year-old star has released four women's perfumes and in August her first men's fragrance, Rogue Man, was announced. She has also brought out two make-up ranges with MAC.
