The 28-year-old model - who is an ambassador for Paige - isn't a fan of overly distressed or paint-splattered denims and always wants to feel "feminine", even if she goes for a looser fit.

She said: "A black pair of skinny jeans has to be the most versatile, timeless and flattering for everyone.

"I love that a black pair of jeans can be dressed up or down, smart or casual. My personal favourite from Paige is the Hoxton in Black Shadow, they are very slimming and elongating.

"I tend to steer clear of anything overly distressed or the paint-splattered trend, and if I go for a looser, more relaxed fit, I still want to feel feminine... but those are just my personal no-nos - everyone is different.

"Denim is a staple in most people's wardrobes whatever their personal style may be and that is what makes it famous for being so versatile. I love seeing other people's interpretation of denim."

Rosie - who is in a relationship with Jason Statham - helped Paige founder Paige Adams-Geller plan the denim brand's spring/summer 2016 campaign shoot and relished her role as creative director as she thinks it makes her endorsement of the company more "authentic".

She told Vogue.co.uk: "I personally enjoy being involved in all aspects of a shoot and having input wherever I can.

"I have 13 years of experience working in this industry so I feel I often have something to bring to the table that goes beyond just posing as a face of the brand. I think when you can work this way and be collaborative the end result is much more meaningful and personal and makes my endorsement of the brand truly authentic.

"I can honestly say that all brands I choose to work with have personal meaning or significance to me in some way. I have been wearing Paige for several years now so there is history there and a genuine appreciation and fondness for the brand."
