Carrie Bradshaw gives a nod to British fashion in this Burberry coat she wears in the new Sex and the City movie.
The style icon, played by Sarah Jessica Parker, is known for her quirky dress sense and is seen on the street in a pink chiffon evening gown teamed with the blue faux fur coat from the new Burberry Prorsum collection in this promotional shot from the new film.
Sex and the City isn't released until March but already key fashion items have been picked out from Carrie's wardrobe.
One particular pair of Dior sandals are expected to sell out once the film is released after Carrie swapped her usual Manolo Blahnik's for them in a number of scenes in the film.
Patricia Field, the stylist for the TV show and the new film, says she does not want the characters to endorse any particular brand: "Even with the TV show, there was no consciousness to endorse a particular brand," she said.
