Sofia Richie's appearance on the Chanel runway was "an amazing experience".

The 18-year-old model - who is the daughter of 'Hello' hitmaker Lionel Richie and his former partner Diana - has revealed starring in the Chanel's Métiers d'Art Paris Cosmopolite show, which took place at The Ritz in Paris, France, on Tuesday (06.12.16), was "a dream".

The blonde haired beauty shared a picture of her adorning a black patterned jacket with buckle detail, marl trousers and a black and white headpiece, whilst strutting through the luxury hotel, on her Instagram account.

She captioned the post: "Was such an amazing experience walking for @chanelofficial. Thank you @karlagerfeld and the whole Chanel team for being so amazing. WHAT A DREAM AH (sic)."

And Sofia - who was announced as the face of PrettyLittleThing.com and stars in the Michael Kors holiday accessories campaign - was accompanied by Pharrell Williams, Cara Delevingne, Lottie Moss and Lily-Rose Depp who also appeared on the catwalk.

The 'Paper Towns' actress - who has regularly appeared in Karl Lagerfeld's fashion shows - took to her social media to share a picture of her pulling a funny face next to the 'Happy' hitmaker backstage.

She captioned the upload: "The names Delevingne, Iguana Delevingne. So nice to see you big bro @pharrell @chanelofficial@i_am_other #embraceyourweirdness (sic)."

The 43-year-old singer also shared the same photograph, which he captioned: "Backstage with Iguana Delevingne @chanelofficial (sic)."

And Pharrell has thanked the French fashion house for inviting him to model for their brand.

Alongside a clip of him swerving through the audience during his runway appearance, whilst wearing a pair of black trousers, black top with a printed long smart jacket and a cluster of long pearls draped around his neck, he wrote: "Thank you @chanelofficial#ParisCosmopolite (sic)."

And Lily-Rose - who was announced as the face of the designer brands signature scent No. 5 L'eau earlier this year - has admitted she was honoured to be a part of the fashion extravaganza.

She said: "Thank you so much@chanelofficial for letting me open this beautiful show. Such an honor to be a part of this!! And thank you@karllagerfeld for letting me wear two incredible pieces Love the chanel family so much! (sic)."
