Stella McCartney is helping raise awareness and money for Breast Cancer Awareness month with a range of lingerie.

The fashion designer has created a limited edition collection and has enlisted the help of close friend Kate Moss to help model the range.

The range launched for October's Breast Cancer Awareness month was re-designed pieces from her Gemma Relaxing lingerie collection this time in a fitting pale pink colour palette.

Profits from the range, costing between $40 and $80, will go towards funding the Linda McCartney Centre in Liverpool - which was named after Stella's mother who died of breast cancer in 2000 - helping to fund a new mammography suite, reports WWD.

Kate Moss has also been shot wearing one of the pink cotton bras by famed photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot to help raise awareness of the campaign.

Stella said: "There are so many women affected by this terrible disease and even more people affected by the loss of the incredible women in their lives.

"There are preventive ways that can help; having knowledge of your body, maintenance and upkeep. Raising awareness on breast cancer is critical...I wanted to remind women that when they wear this set, the first thing they put on in the morning, to keep on top of their health and visit their doctor regularly."

The limited edition range which features both a soft cup and balconette style bra is available to buy now from www.stellamccartney.com.
