Abercrombie & Fitch have stopped selling a T-shirt mocking Taylor Swift.

The US retailer took to its Twitter account to reveal they have withdrawn the garment, which features the phrase "more boyfriends than t.s.", after the singer's fans, who are nicknamed Swifties, launched a petition on Change.org to have the clothing range removed.

Taylor's supporters hit out at the T-shirts - which made a dig at her string of failed relationships, who have been with stars including Harry Styles, Jake Gyllenhaal, John Mayer and Joe Jonas - for being inappropriate.

After withdrawing the product, Abercrombie & Fitch tweeted: "Hey #swifties we no longer sell the tshirt. We <3 Taylor's music and think she's awesome! (sic)"

As well as the petition, one fan even created a YouTube video of herself calling Abercrombie & Fitch's head office to complain about the product, and the clip attracted a staggering 11,000 views in just three days.

What's more, the company created a pre-recorded message to inform Swifties ringing their public relations office that the T-shirts have been removed from stores.

The message states: "Thank you for calling Abercrombie & Fitch public relations. If you are calling regarding the Taylor Swift T-shirt, please note that this is no longer available."
