Justin Timberlake and Ashton Kutcher in Hat War

Justin Timberlake and Ashton Kutcher have gone head to head over who started the trucker hat trend.

Justin, who owns his own clothing line, told Fashion Rocks magazine that he's had enough of people crediting Ashton with starting off the trend for wearing trucket style hats.

“It’s funny,” Timberlake says in the new issue of the magazine. “I keep hearing Ashton Kutcher say how he was responsible for trucker caps. I’ve heard him make that statement before.”

But Timberlake insists he and childhood friend Trace Ayala are the real trendsetters. “Trace and I were wearing them when we were seventeen,” Justin argues.

Both men have credible fashion CVs with Justin running successful William Rast fashion line and recently signing as the new face of Givenchy while ex-underwear model Ashton has fronted big campaigns for the likes of Pepe jeans.
