Topshop launches Celia Birtwell’s new range today.
This is her second collection for the high street store and the range is expected to fly out of the shop.
Birtwell is the wife of the late Ossie Clarke and designed his classic prints in the seventies.
The autumn winter 2006 collection includes dresses, silk chiffon lingerie, bags and accessories. Her debut collection in April caused a riot amongst shoppers and sold out by the end of the day.
Birtwell told vogue online that she really enjoys working with Topshop and was overwhelmed by the response to her designs.
She added:” It’s a very different procedure to the way Ossie and I used to work but there is an energy working with the team that is infectious.”
