Christy Turlington invited yummy mummies Helena Christensen, Liya Kebede and Mya to a Mothers’ Brunch to help in the fight against aids last Sunday.
The supermodel organised the event in the run up to US Mother's Day to raise money for Bono's (RED) campaign to fight HIV and Aids in Africa.
The brunch, held at the Spotted Pig in New York, marked the difference that (RED) money is making to the lives of women and children affected by HIV and AIDS in Africa.
Christy’s guests heard her talk about her involvement with (RED), her trip to Swaziland last year where she saw funds in action and her own experience of being a mother.
Big names including Apple, Converse, Dell, Emporio Armani, Gap, Hallmark, Microsoft and Motorola have created special (RED) products to be sold to raise more moeny for the global organisation.
