Urban Outfitters have angered the Jewish community by selling a t-shirt which apparently supports Palestinian violence.
The design in question was created by LA-based designer 'Fashion Jive' and features a young Palestinian boy carrying an M-16 rifle, over the word "Victimized."
The t-shirt also shows the Palestinian flag, a map of the Palestinian territories and a small white dove, reports haaretz.com.
Sales of the t-shirt have now been halted while the issue is investigated.
This isn't the first time the fashion retailer has caused controversy amoungst the Jewish community. A few years ago they sold T-shirts with the slogan "Everybody Loves a Jewish Girl," surrounded by dollar signs and shopping bags.
Then again in 2007 they angered Jewish leaders by selling versions of a traditional Arab headdress, the kaffiyeh.
Stacey Strober, Urban Outfitter's Store Operations Manager, said: "Please understand that we do not buy items to provoke controversy or to intentionally offend. We have pulled this item in all of our locations and will no longer be selling it online either."
