Dame Vivienne Westwood's granddaughter has signed up to become a model with Next Models.

Cora Corre - whose father Joseph is the youngest son of the famed British fashion designer - has been snapped up by the global modelling agency at the tender age of 17.

Cora - who made her modelling debut in Love magazine last year - has been given an excellent start in the industry by both her grandmother and her parents, who founded the luxury lingerie label Agent Provocateur.

President of Next Models London, Amanda Bretherton said: "Cora has such an infectious personality and a true love and understanding of British fashion.

"Our clients love her - she is so beautiful and fun to be around. She is part of the new wave of bright young London things. We are thrilled to be representing her at Next."

The stunning brunette has already walked for her grandmother's Red and Gold Label collections and featured in the pages of W magazine and Purple.

Meanwhile, Vivienne, 73, recently unveiled the new uniforms she designed for the Virgin Atlantic cabin crew at a party celebrating the company's 30th anniversary last month.

The stylish eco-friendly designs - which take inspiration from some of the British seamstress' most iconic pieces - were created in the company's trademark red colour and made using a polyester made from recycled plastic bottles.

Virgin Atlantic commented: "[Westwood] was the natural choice to redesign the uniform across all areas of our business. Firstly because original design and sustainability are vital to both Virgin Atlantic and Vivienne Westwood."
