Knotted accessories is set to be big news this season with Topshop Unique and Betty Jackson both using them on their catwalks.

Unique accessorised with knotted necklaces while Betty Jackson nipped in models waists with knotted belts. Jewellery designer Lara Bohinc has a great range of statement pieces with interlocking loops, creating knot shapes.

Celebrities are loving this look too with Confessions of a Shopaholic star Isla Fisher modelling a necklace from Bohnic's collection, for a tv appearance. Not exactly credit crunch friendly at £515

The trend will work well with the spring nautical look if you go for knotted style rope belts or jewellery.

This is a versatile look as you can go for thin, delicate knotted pieces to wear with spring/summer's floaty, feminine dresses or wear big brash statement pieces which will work perfectly with the tribal look so popular at the moment.
