Jump on to the Fairisle trend

Tis the season to wrap up warm and thanks to Dolce and Gabbana we can do this in style.
The Fall/Winter 2010 show was all about ski wear and wrapping up warm. Something other designers don't seem to know a lot about. Phoebe Philo, I look to you when I say this, leather tank tops and cropped pants do not fare well in this weather.
But it is now, no longer a fashion faux pas to wear a reindeer or snowflake emblazoned jumper, it's almost sacrilege not to do so.
Fairisle used to be the dreaded print that was given by all unknowing grandparents but this year we will welcome them with open arms, even if we already have three stashed in the wardrobe.
Tesco have an uncanny version of the Italian duos red, cropped sleeved jumper. But we have to once again thank the British high street and their endless 'copies' of this trend. Everybody from Next to River Island have picked up on the trend.
Don't despair about saving it for Christmas day either, this trend is relevant for the whole season and many more to come, hopefully. It keeps us so warm.
Just make sure that you take it easy on the trend and steer clear of snow boots and red tinted glasses. You don't want to look like you have arrived straight from the slopes.
