Patricia Field is moving her boutique from its home in SoHo in West Broadway to the Lower East side.

Woman's Wear Daily has reported that the famous stylist will open a two level 4,000 square foot boutique next month.

Field's vision for the new boutique includes a lounge and hair salon on the lower level with her own label and other cutting edge designers on the main one.

Field is one of the fashion world's most respected designers and stylists. She has her own label Hotel Venus as well as Patricia Field .com and has designed a range for Rocawear with Jay Z.

Imelda Marcos's Trash Jewellery Imelda Marcos was famous for her extensive shoe collection and expensive jewellery when she was the Philippines First Lady.

When she went into exile twenty years ago she lost £10 million worth of jewellery but she is not bitter. Marcos now makes jewellery from recycled garbage, according to an interview with The International Herald Tribune.

She told the paper:" They stole all my jewels. These are recycled garbage that I make into jewels. It's beautiful. Here I have a plastic ring. I designed it. I have hundreds and hundreds.

I have a room full of jewellery made from plastic. I have jewellery for every dress and for every shoe... I am more bejewelled than before."
