Jennifer Aniston's 'Rachel' haircut has been named as the most influential hairstyle of all time.
The stunning actress made the layered bob famous in the mid-nineties when she played Rachel Green in the hit sitcom 'Friends', sparking millions of imitations around the world.
The bouncy layered, mid-length style beat former 'Charlie's Angels' actress Farrah Fawcett's famous 'flick' into second place, while the late Princess Diana's short blonde cut - which cost her a reported £4,000-a-year - was voted third by a survey of 2,000 women.
Designer Mary Quant's black bob came fourth, while screen legend Marilyn Monroe's platinum blonde tresses were voted in fifth place.
A spokeswoman for electrical firm Morphy Richards, who ran the poll, said: "These results reveal some truly iconic hairstyles."
